As a Notary in good standing in the State of Arkansas, Patton Legal Services can provide Electronic Notary (E-Notary) services to our clientele. We are a commissioned E-Notary and received the mandatory training, required by the Arkansas Office of the Secretary of State, to become a Remote Online Notary (RON). This commission runs concurrently with our standard paper notary commission and has the same expiration date. This training allows us to notarize documents that are not physically present by using computer technology.
This process is similar to the paper notary process, with the exception that a secure web portal will be utilized for the secure notarization process. We use Notarize with Proof, the leader in remote on-line notarization to facilitate this process. The document to be notarized will be retrieved from its digital source (flash drive, email, document on a hard drive, or scanned) and uploaded into the secure portal system.
Our E-Notary begins the process by reviewing and verifying the signer(s) legal identification and having them complete their digital signature through signature capture software. Once signed, our Notary will complete all certificate information for the document and affix a digitally encrypted stamp (similar to an official stamp on a paper document). We will provide detailed instructions as to how to access the electronically notarized document.
As a 5-star rated Legal Service you can count on our integrity and impartiality as a bonded, licensed Notary. You can trust Patton Legal Services to use sound judgment and to fulfill your notary obligations. Contact us for more details or to schedule our E-Notary Services. Quotes are available upon request.
Our convenient notarization process allows you to skip the printing of documents and transporting of them to the Notary. E-Notary services have become increasingly popular and offer some advantages over traditional services, as they can be done from anywhere with an internet connection and can be time and cost saving. This process is a highly secure method to record and store notarized information. E-Notaries can perform same notarial acts as traditional notaries, including taking acknowledgments, administering oaths, and taking affidavits, though there are some restrictions on what types of documents can be electronically notarized.
